Donate/Bequests

Donations of books and materials as well as monetary donations are gratefully accepted. Books and materials that do not fill our collections needs will be used in the annual Book and Bake Sale, which includes an area set aside in the Library for ongoing purchases.

The proceeds of this important fundraiser, sponsored by the Friends of the Edwards Public Library, allows the Library to purchase materials and books that would not be available from budgetary funding. We accept newer materials in excellent condition. Textbooks, encyclopedias, periodicals and Reader’s Digest condensed books are NOT accepted.

Monetary donations in memory of loved ones may be sent to the Library to the attention of the Director. When a donation is made, an acknowledgement card is sent, and if desired, a bookplate in your loved one’s honor is inserted in the book.  Your donation is tax deductible. What a wonderful way to remember your relatives, your friends or even yourself!

Have you considered a Tribute gift to the library? Tribute gifts honor someone who is still living and celebrate a special occasion or accomplishment.

To donate to the Library, you may use this Honor Books Form.  You may also call us at 413-527-9480 or contact us by email.
